Richmond Council moves forward on major civic projects
Council has endorsed program space allocations for a new community complex in Minoru Park and new No.1 and No. 3 Fire Halls. The Minoru complex will open in 2017. The No. 1 Fire Hall will be completed by 2016.

Richmond makes major investments in flood prevention
The City of Richmond and its funding partners have spent $45 million since 2008 on flood protection measurements and an additional $50 million investment over the next five years is being recommended.
